This minimalist, Scandinavian-inspired media console was designed for personal use to house a stereo receiver and TV. Built using black walnut hardwood, it features push-to-release drawers, flush-mounted for a sleek look, supported by full-extension slides. The cabinet includes thoughtful cable management, with a closable rear opening for clean wiring.

Joinery highlights include dovetails with unique spacing and a base secured with figure-eight connectors to allow for wood movement. Achieving precise drawer spacing was a key challenge, but the finished piece functions as intended and fits well into its space.
