I designed and built this Scandinavian-inspired dining table to create a statement piece for hosting gatherings. At 8’4″ long, it seats eight comfortably and up to twelve when needed. The table is constructed from white oak, featuring mortise-and-tenon joints for strength and a clean aesthetic.

The wide tabletop required multi-part lamination, demanding precision since I couldn’t use a thickness planer. I addressed imperfections with hand planing, achieving a smooth finish. The table has been a functional and welcoming centerpiece for our family and friends.
